HAPPY FRIDAY!
This week the book is Mystic River by Dennis Lehane, and the 56 is juicy!
On a second look, she noticed it wasn't more than a tenth of an inch deep. But it was long. And it was bloody. Though not enough to account for all the blood on his shirt and neck.

Juicy? Like a steak?
Here is my Friday 56.
Actually (and surprisingly) this book has nothing to do with vampires, werewolves, fairies, little people, or any of that stuff. It's a simple crime story. Well, not simple, but not fantasy. And I mean juicy but it's a good representation of the book and will leave you hanging as well as juicy - it's bloody for Halloween!
Oooh, a long and bloody cut?
My Friday 56 is:
