HAPPY FRIDAY!
From Royal Blood by Rona Sharon:
"Perhaps if you gave her the occasional slip, she would grow to appreciate your bucklering," Walter offered affably. He extended his hand, "Sir Walter Devereaux."
I haven't read this yet, but am looking forward to it. It's my next read!

"Bucklering" - that's a good word for Wondrous Words Wednesday! Mine is here.
I was actually wondering - "What does THAT mean?" From dictionary.com:
buck·ler (bŭk'lər)
n.
1. A small, round shield either carried or worn on the arm.
2. A means of protection; a defense: "has enjoyed a reputation as a shield and buckler for . . . the academic avant-garde" (Donal Henahan).
tr.v. buck·lered, buck·ler·ing, buck·lers
To shield; protect.
Hi! I'm sorry this has nothing to do with this post (I love this game by the way!!!) but I couldn't figure out how to contact you re: the game I am playing on my blog that you wrote your book blurb for! If you want to post it on your blog and then link up, that is great -- more people will be able to find your submission that way. If not, I will try to put it up when I talk about the game "results" on Monday. Either way you want. And there is no "wrong" way to play -- I like what you did! It would have been TONS easier if I had gone with the book blurb route rather than trying to write the genre mash-ups myself. Just wanted to tell you! : )
Here's a couple that were posted to an older version of the game. I'm putting links here so everyone can enjoy!

This is from Shannan. hmmmmm, I'm curious who has the old link. I'm thinking everyone's getting it from the same person. No worries though! I'll post them on the current one until everyone updates!

Tonya - I am so sorry! I have just been copying and pasting from my prior posts! I didn't even think that it wasn't going to the right place! I am going to update it right now. Thank you for letting me know!
