Friday 56: Anywhere I Wander

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to this blog.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

The closest book this week is The Best fake Book Ever, so my line this week is actually a lyric to the song Anywhere I Wander by Frank Loesser.

Anywhere I wander, anywhere I roam, till I'm in the arms of my darling again my heart will find no home.

LadyD - it says it's from the Hans CHristian Anderson movie but I've never heard it. I'll have to find it.

Great meme idea! The nearest book to me is Essential Zen, by Kazuaki Tanahashi & Tensho David Scheider. The 5th sentence on pg. 56 doesn't work w/o the 4th sentence, so here are the 2 of them:

During dinner one night at San Francisco Zen Center someone asked, "How do you cook enlightenment?"

A young woman said, "Over easy."
