HAPPY FRIDAY!
I can't believe it's Friday again already! I feel like we just did this! Ok, so this week's is from Hunger Games. I know everyone on the planet besides me has already read this but I stopped reading reviews when I decided I wanted to read it. This may have been discussed already (and I'm only on page 9) so forgive me if I'm wrong or behind the times, but does anyone else think this is a modern day Crete calls for the youth to be fed to the Minotaur story?
Haymitch hasn't paid much attention to his platter, but he's knocking back a glass of clear liquid from a bottle.

Well, Tonya, I haven't read this one...and I'm not planning on it! lol
Probably because everyone in the universe is or has read it, and I'm a bit of a rebel...
I hope you like it, though.
Here's my 56:

I have this one on my TBR, right now it will stay until all the hype over the series completely dies down so when I do read it I will enjoy it more....

I loved Hunger Games - it took me a while to read it as well because of all the buzz.
I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
Here's my Friday 56

Despite the hype, the Hunger Games trilogy is a very good read. I found it to be very emotional and was surprised how it affected me.
IMO, the first book is the best.

Another H.G. lover here. I love that your Friday 56 captures Haymitch in such an appropriate scene.

I haven't read this one either, though it is on my list.
My Friday 56 is up and a little bit gruesome.
Interesting 56...Here's min: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2010/09/friday-56_10.html
I haven't heard of the book, but I am usually reading YA, Nancy Drew or Christian books.
And my Friday 56 this week, comes from none of those:

Okay, I just looked at this trilogy over at Amazon and am quite intrigued. Think it will be on my TBR list, if someone can please let me know whether or not there is foul language, graphic violence or sex in these books.
Could you leave a comment on my blog post? I'd appreciate it

Kewkew, I think by it's very nature this book will have violence as for it being graphic - don't know, maybe someone who has read it can say?
Sounds interesting. Funny thing is that I'm still reading children's books! lol Here's mine:
