I'm not actually to The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan yet, but since I am sticking to my plan of re-reading all of these I have it close by my bed (where I am sitting this morning writing). I actually have several books sitting right at hand by my bed but this is the only one that has yet to be used in a F56. I'm surprised how much I remember about what's happening here since it's been so long since I read this and I didn't remember much of the first book.Moiraine was conscious of Leane standing to one side, quiet as always in the presence of the Amyrlin. But watching, and listening.

It's already Friday over here, in my part of the world (6:48AM) so my F56 is already up.
The only robert Jordan I've read are the Wheel Of Time books. And hazily remembered by now. this R. Jordan I haven't read... sounds like him though :)

I've got The Gathering Storm on my review shelf and hope I remember enough of the other books for it to make sense! I plan on re-reading from the beginning of the series when the last book is published.

That's why I had to start rereading now, I just don't remember enough. I kept thinking all through the last book "Now, who is that person again?" I think I'll enjoy the last 3 books more if I start rereading now!

I don't have my own blog~at least, not yet. Here's my Friday 56:
"I speed-dialed Chief Porter's mobile number - and discovered that no charge was left in the battery. I hadn't plugged it in overnight."
I just finished a Dean Koontz book entitled "Forever Odd." Pretty good book in the Odd Thomas series. This guy can see dead people. I think as a funny bit, Elvis seems to be one of his best friends right now.....
